ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Cocke County Schools Ð Speech-Language Pathology Services Cocke County Schools is currently seeking sealed bids from qualified providers to furnish Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) Services for the 2026Ð2027 Contract Year, beginning with the June 2027 Extended School Year (ESY) session. I. Scope of Services & District Demographics The selected provider(s) will be responsible for comprehensive SLP services, including evaluations, direct therapy, and IEP team participation, across 13 instructional sites: ¥ 9 Elementary Schools | 2 High Schools | 2 Alternative Programs Contractual Service Windows (2026Ð2027 SY): ¥ June 2027 (ESY): Initial service period providing direct therapy for students qualifying for Extended School Year services. ¥ 2026Ð2027 Academic Year: Full-service district coverage beginning August 2026 through May 2027. ¥ Student Caseload: Approximately 100 school-pay students, 200 plus additional insurance-pay students. II. Mandatory Bid Components To be considered, all bids must include the following: 1. Price Per Hour: A fixed hourly rate for the 2026Ð2027 cycle (including June ESY and the standard academic year). 2. Service Delivery Model: Detailed capacity for In-Person, Teletherapy, or Hybrid models. 3. Direct Insurance Billing: Mandatory Requirement. The provider must demonstrate the capacity to bill insurance directly for all eligible students and manage all claims independently. 4. Licensure Guarantee: A written guarantee that all therapists assigned to Cocke County Schools will have confirmed, active Tennessee State Licensure no later than July 1, 2026. 5. Credentialing & Pipeline Report: Bidders must provide a current staffing pipeline report. This must include names of proposed therapists for the ESY and academic year start, or a detailed recruitment status report showing candidates currently in the licensure/background check stage. 6. Cancellation Policy: Clear terms regarding student absences, districtwide closures, and provider-initiated cancellations. III. Submission Process & Deadlines Sealed bids must be marked "Sealed Bid: Speech-Language Pathology Services" and delivered to: ¥ Submission Deadline: Friday, April 17, 2026, by 3:00 PM. ¥ Public Bid Opening: Friday, April 17, 2026, at 3:00 PM at the Central Office. ¥ Extension Clause: Cocke County Schools reserves the right to extend the bid deadline should an insufficient number of bids be received by the initial closing date.
