ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Spartan Creek Water and Sewer Line Improvements – Phase 1 and 2 For the CITY OF BIXBY, OKLAHOMA Sealed bids for the Spartan Creek Water and Sewer Line Improvements – Phase 1 and 2 for the City of Bixby, Oklahoma will be received by the City of Bixby, Oklahoma at City Hall, 111 North Cabaniss, Bixby, Oklahoma 74008, until 10:00 a.m. on September 3, 2026, for furnishing tools, materials and labor, and performing the work necessary to be done in the construction of the above. All bids that have been duly received will be publicly opened and read aloud by the Director of Public Works, or designated representative, in the Council Room of the City of Bixby, Oklahoma, at the time and date shown above. Payment Options: Online Download $45.00 or ½ size Paper Set $120.00, none of which are refundable. All checks shall be made payable to Holloway, Updike & Bellen, Inc. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bidder's Bond, or Cashier's Check upon any solvent Bank or Trust Company, payable without reserve to the City of Bixby, Oklahoma, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Bid security of the two low bidders will be retained until approval of contract and execution of satisfactory bonds by the successful bidder, or until other disposition on the bids is made. Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference: A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held, August 20, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., at the Bixby City Hall, Council Chambers, 111 North Cabaniss, Bixby, Oklahoma 74008. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. The sealed proposal of each bidder shall be accompanied by a Noncollusion Affidavit, Business Relationship Affidavit, Experience and Equipment Questionnaire and a Certified or Cashier's Check or Bidder's Surety Bond in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid will be required from each bidder to be retained as liquidated damages in the event the successful bidder fails, neglects, or refuses to enter into said contract for the construction of said public improvements for said project, and furnish the necessary bonds within ten (10) days from and after the date the award is made.
