Project Description: This Project is a Covered Project subject to the City ofSeattle’s Community Workforce Agreement (CWA) and Priority Hire SMC 20.37. Withthe support of the mayor and City Council, the City of Seattle administers programs thatsupport racial and economic equity through contracting. Priority Hire is one of theseprograms. Priority Hire provides people living in economically distressed communities,women, and people of color access to work on the city’s construction projects. It givescontractors access to these skilled workers.This project will construct a transient boat moorage and wave attenuator facility at SouthLeschi Marina. SOW will include demolition of existing timber pier, gangway, and float;furnish and installation of steel piling; utility infrastructure; fabrication and installation ofgangway and floating structures.
