BID NOTICE Source Capture Exhaust Systems The Troup County Board of Commissioners is soliciting sealed bids complete source capture exhaust systems of 7 different locations for the Troup County Fire Department. All bids must be submitted in sealed packaging clearly marked “Source Capture Exhaust Systems”. All bids must include a 5% bid bond. A 100% performance and payment bond will be required from the successful bidder. The sureties must either be authorized by the Insurance Commissioner of Georgia to do business in Georgia or must be on the United States Treasury’s list of approved bond sureties. If the surety is on the United States Treasury’s list, proof must be provided with the bond. All bids must be received in the Troup County Purchasing Department, 100 Ridley Avenue, Suite 3100, LaGrange, GA 30240 no later than 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 9, 2020. The bids will be publically opened. Each submission will include “1” original and “3” copies as well as one electronic copy in PDF form of the complete bid response. Late bids will not be considered. Questions concerning the bid specifications must be submitted via e-mail to Diana Evans, Troup County Purchasing Director at devans@troupco.org. Information from any other source will not be binding upon Troup County and could result in the rejection of bids. All addenda will be posted on Troup County’s website www.troupcountyga.org. No questions shall be submitted after 5:00 p.m., EST, October 27, 2020. Please read the specifications thoroughly before submitting questions. All bidders must schedule a site visit. A sit visit will include visiting each of the 7 stations and this is expected to be a full day event. If a representative from your company has not completed a site visit, your bid will not be accepted. Each bid must include a notarized affidavit providing your E-Verify registration number, a W-9 and the Troup County vendor information form. In addition to providing the required signed and notarized contractor affidavit before any bid is considered, should the contractor use subcontractors, the contractor will secure from the subcontractor(s) attestation of each subcontractor’s compliance with O.C.G.A. § 13-10-90 et seq.
