Solano Public Health CalFresh Healthy Living (CFHL) Program Implementation

Description

The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) is one of several organizations in California that receive grant funding from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program-Education (SNAP-Ed). SNAP-Ed is known as CalFresh Healthy Living (CFHL) in California. CDPH issues funding to Local Implementing Agencies (LIAs) for CFHL service delivery through Local Health Departments (LHDs) or their designees. Solano Public Health is seeking highly qualified agencies to assist with the implementation of the CFHL program. &nbsp;CDPH CFHL program highlights four programmatic priorities that integrate nutrition education, policy, systems, and environmental (PSE) change approaches on multiple levels to support community health goals and address obesity prevention.
