Leon County is seeking the services of a single qualified contractor to enhance and promote the safe use of non-motorized transportation alternatives to access the Apalachicola National Forest. This project will provide a bicycle friendly corridor in western Leon County where few options exist. Phases I & II construction will add 5-foot paved bike lanes on both sides of the road and overlay/re-stripe approximately 2.3 miles of the roadway.It is the County’s intent to award both projects to a single vendor and have that vendor construct both projects on a concurrent timeframe.
