Lancaster County Sheriff’s Evidence StorageARCHITECTURAL SCOPE OF SERVICES PROJECT SUMMARYLancaster County intends to build a new evidence storage building at the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Complex. The County will need professional Architectural services to ensure the renovation maximizes return by including as many of the Sheriff’s needs as possible within the project budget.• Building:o Create an evidence storage building on existing property owned by Lancaster County.o Exterior walls should be constructed of concrete blocks with concrete filled cells or a similar material; exterior doors should be metal clad with metal frames. Main entry door and any interior doors should be wider than standard doors to permit the entry of bulky evidence items.o Roof should be made in a way to resist entry (no flat roofs!).o Building should be wired for Wi-Fi, surveillance cameras, and security system.o Ideally there should be a covered, secured walkway between the existing evidence storage building and the new building.o Security & Data locations to be coordinated with Lancaster County I.T. department. • Evidence Preservation:o Heating and air system should be able to maintain a temperature range between 60 and 75°; ventilation should remove noxious fumes from building.o System should also have added humidity control to keep relative humidity level below 60%.o Generator needed to cover times of power loss. • Vehicle Storage Areao Model of an acceptable lift system such as the HD-9 series.o Concrete flooring must be thick enough to support weight of vertical car lifts.o Power source and the installation of both a power disconnect switch and a thermal disconnect switch.o Due to difficulty in moving vehicles around in the evidence garage, suggestion is to have a bay door per four-post lift un
