Sewells Point Road - HRSD PS 105 Water and Sewer Replacement

Description

The Work under this Project includes the installation of approximately 2000 LF of water main, between theintersections of Partridge Street and Bland Street, as well as the replacement of 40 water service lines alongSewells Point Road. This project also includes the replacement of approximately 2,000 LF of sewer main,between the intersections of Partridge Street and Bland Street, as well as the replacement of 43 existing sewerlaterals and cleanouts along Sewells Point Road. Approximately 1900 LF of existing water main will beabandoned in place and approximately 100 LF of existing water main will be removed. Approximately 1250LF of existing sanitary sewer will be abandoned and approximately 700 LF of existing sanitary sewer will beremoved. This project is linear in nature and will not alter pre-construction site runoff characteristics uponcompletion of land disturbing and final stabilization activities. ADA handicap ramps will be installed wherework occurs in the respective intersection and existing curb ramps are not up to standards.
