Ash., Room 209, Salina, Kansas 67401 until Monday, March 23rd at 10:00 am. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the City County Building immediately after Bid Closing time. The major items of WORK include: rehabilitation and improvements to the Senior Services building - roof, sidewalks, and parking lot in an area generally bounded by the Senior Services Building property located at 245 N. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available. Neither Owner nor Architect will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bidders must register with the Issuing Office website to receive updates to bidding information. Bid Security of 5% will be required in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidder qualifications may be required in accordance with Instructions to Bidders. Owner reserves the right to reject Bids and to waive irregularities. Project Funding. This project is funded by the Kansas Department of Commerce (KDC) CDBG program. COMPLIANCE WITH THE FOLLOWING REQUIRED: Federal Davis-Bacon minimum wage rates under the contract (Davis Bacon Act)-applies to Prime and all subcontractors; Copeland "AntiKickback" Act; Fair Labor Standards Act, and the Contractor work Hours and Safety Standards Act.
