The Housing Authority of Washington County (HAWC) is seeking qualifications from community-based organizations (CBOs) to participate in the Section 18 disposition program designed to facilitate affordable homeownership for low- to moderate-income households. This RFQ invites local CBOs to partner in the disposition of 60 public housing units under the Section 18 program. HAWC seeks to identify a prequalified pool of CBOs with affordable homeownership expertise in:1) Facilitating the affordable home purchase process for eligible low- to moderate-income households; and/or2) Purchasing homes for community land trust or rent-to-own affordable homeownership programs.
