EASTERN IOWA COMMUNITY COLLEGES SCOTT COMMUNITY COLLEGE EMT CLASSROOM REMODEL July 2, 2026 #26000864.00 ADDENDUM #1 A. GENERAL ITEMS 1. A Pre-Bid Meeting was held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. The sign-in sheet from the meeting is attached for reference. 2. All tables, chairs, desks, and cubicles shown on the drawings are furnished and installed by Owner. 3. The plumbing work under floor is accessible from the suspended acoustical ceiling in the room below. 4. Any demolition work (walls, ceiling, carpet, etc.) not previously completed by others is included in the work of this contract. 5. Construction meetings will be held every other week in a room located in the building. No job trailer is required. B. SPECIFICATIONS 1. Section 06 40 23 – Interior Architectural Woodwork Item 2.1 Woodwork Fabricators Add Woodcrafters, Inc. to the list of approved fabricators. Add Redbud Ridge to the list of approved fabricators. 2. Section 09 65 19 – Resilient Tile Flooring Add new specification section included in this addendum. C. DRAWINGS 1. Drawing A1.01 – EMT Classroom Plans A. Floor Plan – New There is existing metal stud furring on the south wall of Lab 252A. This furring may be left in place and reused with additional studs added as necessary. There is existing hat channel furring on the north wall of Classroom 252B. This furring will need to be removed and replaced with new 2-1/2” metal stud furring at 16” o.c. as noted on drawing to accommodate the new electrical boxes on this wall. B. Detail 12 – TV Mounting This detail is typical for all TV locations noted on plan. Provide plywood blocking for monitor bracket at each location shown. 2. Drawing A5.01 - Sections A. Detail 3 – Entrance Section The waterproofing membrane below the new concrete topping at the door threshold shall be GCP Bituthene 3000 self-adhesive waterproofing membrane or equal. 3. Drawing A6.01 – Schedules & Details A. Room Finish Schedule Add the following notes: 1. All rooms noted on schedule and the existing closets are to receive new LVT flooring and new vinyl base. 2. Remove all fasteners from existing gyp. bd. walls and patch existing gyp. bd. walls as required prior to painting. 3. Paint all new and existing hollow metal doors and frames. 4.
