The City of Santa Monica’s Water Resources Division (referred to hereafter as “the City”) is inviting proposals from qualified persons or firms to assist the Water Resources Division to improve its stewardship of the City’s drinking water, wastewater, and recycled water infrastructure through on-call professional services for Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems integration and support for a term of five (5) years.The City is seeking proposals from qualified persons or firms to review and update the 2019 SCADA Master Plan, for implementing upgrades/enhancements to the water and wastewater SCADA system, and to provide on-call integrator services for the SCADA system based on the needs of the City. This includes, but is not limited to, defining subtasks to the main tasks defined in this RFP, as well as identifying dependencies, resource needs, internal and external responsibilities, and cost per task to support the SCADA Master Plan development and execution. Additional tasks may be defined, if deemed necessary.The City reserves the right to select one or more proposers for any tasks included in this Scope of Work.The objective of this project is to identify necessary improvements of the SCADA system, deliver cost estimates associated with these improvements, and provide integration services, procurement, training, and documentation. Responses to this RFP shall detail the proposer’s qualifications, work plan, schedule, value-added additions, pricing, and any additional recommendations.
