The City of Sweet Home has secured grants and other funding for improvements to Sankey Park, the largest park in the City's park system. These improvements include sidewalks, paved paths, unpaved trails, site lighting, as well as an ADA-accessible path with switchbacks and viewing platforms that will connect the upper and lower portions of the park. These improvements require engineering and design work, especially when it comes to the steep slope between the two portions of the park. The City is now accepting proposals from engineering firms with demonstrated experience in the areas necessary to complete this project successfully. The City estimates this project will occur within the timeline specified in the scope of work.
