Safety Footwear Program

Description

MOA requires safety footwear for certain classifications. All bidders that meet the requirements may be awarded a blanket purchase order for each year of the contract.The highest percentage discount off catalog prices may be awarded a 3-year contract. If two or more bids provide the same percentage discount and are the lowest responsive bid, the City of Palo Alto may award to more than one bidder.1. The City of Palo Alto Utilities Department is requesting vendors to provide safety footwear to the Utilities department; however, this request is not limited to only this department in the City of Palo Alto.2. Vendors to provide the following but not limited to:Safety bootsWalking shoes3. Trucks on site: Contractor shall provide (if available) trucks to purchase boots onsite in the City of Palo Alto. Locations are not limited to; 1) the municipal service center 3201 East Bayshore Road 2) Regional Water Quality Control Plant 2501 Embarcadero Way.4. Online Services: Contractor shall have an online portal available for the City of Palo Alto department(s) to enter team member information and tracking purposes.5. Multiple Location Service Availability: Contractor will provide product discount(s) to City staff via truck service, in store, and online.
