Safe Stay Communities Ancillary Buildings

Description

The Sacramento County is seeking to further develop its Safe Stay Communities by soliciting qualified manufacturers to provide and deliver prefabricated modular buildings. These buildings will be used for a variety of purposes, including; bathrooms, showers, laundry rooms, community spaces, dining halls, computer labs, office spaces, and security rooms.The County will contract with contractors to prepare the site in preparation to receive the modular buildings.  Site preparation includes grading of the land, installation of sanitary sewer, potable water, electrical services, land, and hard scape features to the site.  The final step is the installation of the modular buildings themselves.The purpose of this RFP is to identify qualified manufacturers with the experience and resources to propose high quality, cost efficient modular housing and ancillary buildings and to provide and deliver said structures. A key objective of this plan is to create not just shelters, but a communal environment for individuals and families experiencing homelessness.Further details can be found in the attachment titled "Specifications."
