Bids must be received by the designated date and time, and none will be considered thereafter. Sealed bids will be received in the Warren County Judge/Executive’s Office, 429 East 10 th Avenue, Bowling Green, Kentucky, until 10 AM on April 17, 2026 2. Bids shall be in a sealed envelope clearly labeled “Roof Replacement – Barren River VFD #1 and Woodburn VFD #1 3. Questions regarding the bid documents must be submitted to James Marcrum, james.marcrum@ky.gov, no later than five (5) days before the bid opening date. 4. By providing a bid, the bidder affirms that he/she has thoroughly reviewed the plans and contract documents, is familiar with the area and requirements for construction of the work proposed, and has visited the site to familiarize him/her with field conditions. It is the responsibility of the bidder to acknowledge any and all addenda prior to submitting a bid. 5. Only bids received by the appointed time will be considered. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality. 6. The successful bidder will be required to hold a Contractor’s License for work in Warren County and adequate liability insurance. 7. Bids will be subject to acceptance for a period of 30 days after receipt by the Owner. 8. All work shall be completed within 60 calendar days after a Notice To Proceed. Failure to complete will result in a $100 per calendar day liquidated damages penalty. 9. Bidders will adhere to all OSHA guidelines. 10. The project is to be constructed in accordance with the attached scope of work 11. 5% advantage will be given to Contractors with an office in Warren County 12.
