Roadway Reconstruction Mechanic Street, High Street, & Mascoma Street Intersection

Description

The intent of the project is to improve safety, increase capacity and address operational deficiencies at the Mascoma Street/High Street/Mechanic Street intersection. The project involves construction of a roundabout to replace the dangerous and confusing four leg intersection. Work includes roadway widening, curbing, small retaining walls, drainage, lighting, utility relocation and landscaping.   The project will provide accommodations to maintain the Mascoma River Greenway that crosses through the intersection.
