Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD) owns and operates four major reservoirs, including Lake Bridgeport, Eagle Mountain Lake, Cedar Creek Lake, and Richland-Chambers Lake. See Figure 1. TRWD operation activities include routine maintenance and inspection of dams at the four reservoirs. For the purposes of this solicitation, we will not include Richland Chambers as it was inspected in 2023 and inspections are required every five (5) years. The contract resulting from this solicitation will be for three years with the following locations each year:2024 – Eagle Mountain Reservoir2025 – Lake Bridgeport2026 – Cedar Creek LakeFigure 1: Location Map of TRWD Reservoirs Eagle Mountain DamEagle Mountain Dam was constructed in 1930s as a municipal water supply dam. The dam is located on the West Fork of the Trinity River in Tarrant County approximately 14 miles of Fort Worth, Texas. The reservoir has a drainage area of 1,970 square miles and normal water level at elevation 649.1 feet. Eagle Mountain Lake has a normal pool storage capacity of 179,880 acre-feet. The dam consists of two embankment sections (main dam and spillway dam), two concrete spillways, an outlet works, and an earthen emergency spillway through the high ground called Eagle Mountain and Burgess Gap.
