The proposed project consists of the planning and design of an initial 1.0-million-gallon-per-day (MGD) water reclamation facility at the Primrose site. The facility is intended to support the City’s long-term wastewater treatment capacity, environmental stewardship, and water-reuse objectives. The project is anticipated to use membrane-based treatment technologies, including membrane bioreactor (MBR) and ultrafiltration (UF) processes, as appropriate for the selected treatment train and regulatory requirements. The selected firm will be expected to evaluate treatment alternatives, develop a defensible basis of design, coordinate with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), prepare complete construction documents, support procurement and construction, and assist the City through startup and commissioning.
