The Riverside County Department of Waste Resources (RCDWR) operates various heavy earth moving equipment used in landfill operations such as dozers, scrapers and loaders equipped with automatic Fire Suppression Systems (FSS) that require annual or biannual (every six months) inspection and testing, and periodic maintenance and repair, including recharging. The equipment is essential to the safe operation of County landfills and to comply with state and federal regulations. Therefore, the County will require strict lead times be met A) from the time the County requests a service to the time the request is responded to and a technician is dispatched to the site shall be no more than three (3) business days, and B) from the time a service or repair is initiated to the time it is completed shall be no more than five (5) business days total.
