RFQ Waxahachie-Midlothian Regional Trail

The City of Waxahachie (“City”) is accepting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified firms (“Consultant”) to select a design team that will provide design services for the Waxahachie-Midlothian Regional Trail – Phase 1. This RFQ is posted separately from other City of Waxahachie engineering projects due to federal funding and reporting requirements associated with this project. This RFQ provides interested firms with the information necessary to prepare and submit their qualifications for consideration. The City anticipates identifying a consultant that will provide, through self-performance or by sub-contract, all related services associated with the project. In accordance with Texas Government Code 2254, the City of Waxahachie will use this RFQ process to make a final selection for the highest qualified firm for this and future phases of the Waxahachie-Midlothian Regional Trail, for which the City of Waxahachie will oversee development (portions of the trail will be designed and constructed under the purview of other agencies). As part of final selection, the City may request additional information from the firms to gauge availability and expertise in a specific area of focus. While the intent is for the City of Waxahachie to contract with a single firm to provide all necessary services, if a specific need arises and it is deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Waxahachie, the City reserves the right to use any and all legal procurement methods to obtain the necessary expertise to meet the needs of the project.RESPONDENTS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO CAREFULLY READ THE ENTIRE DOCUMENT PRIOR TO SUBMITTING A RESPONSE.
