Ship Unloader Crane Removal Project Name Project No. To: Specification Booklet Ship Unloader Crane Removal 11781 Task No. 01 Addendum No. 2 Date: Prospective Bidders 5/15/2026 The following are additional documents and answers to questions received. Item Description Attachments & Revisions 1. Revised Division I page 11 (attached) – Revised Schedule of Prices Pay Item No. 7.0. Replace previous Division I Page 11 and include the attached page with the Proposal. 2. The RFP Submission Deadline has been revised to 3:00 CDT on Wednesday June 3, 2026. Questions 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. Can prep work be performed on Dock 1 and the “S” Crane, as well as Dock 3 and the Coal Yard, prior to the exclusive use by contractor timeframe. Answer: Prep work may be performed prior to the exclusive use timeframe as long as the work does not interfere with terminal operations and the work is approved by the APA. Prep work may be done on Dock 3 or Yard 4 (the coal yard) as long as it is coordinated with the other contractor also working in this area and is approved by the APA. Are steel plates and/or mats required to protect both Dock 1 and Dock 3. Answer: It is the contractor’s responsibility to protect both Docks and all other APA facilities. The Contractor shall provide any required protective measures based on its means and methods of construction and equipment loading. Any damage to APA facilities resulting from the Contractors operation must be repaired or replaced by the Contractor at no cost to the APA. In addition to the conveyor underneath the “S” Crane being removed ahead of dismantlement by the Port Contractor, can 100 feet either north or south of the “S” Crane also be removed by the Port Contractor or Ship Unloader Contractor, after utility disconnects are made, to provide additional workspace for removal? Answer: The APA will remove portions of the conveyor system to best ensure an adequate amount of workspace is provided to avoid conflicts with the removal operations. Can the “S” Crane be moved further north from its current location? Answer: The Contractor may propose relocating the “S” Crane further north along the Dock, provided the relocation can be performed safely and the final location is supported by the Feasibility Study and Engineering Report and accepted by the APA. The Contractor should not assume the use or availability of the crane’s internal movement mechanisms.
