LEGAL NOTICE HINDS COUNTY, MS REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS The Hinds County Board of Supervisors is interested in acquiring the services of a consultant to provide Professional Consultant Services to develop, implement and oversee a program to ensure the involvement and participation of Hinds County residents, firms, and businesses, including minority businesses, in economic, contracting and job opportunities within Hinds County, particularly Continental Tire. Interested parties are invited to secure a Request for Qualifications package from Carmen Y. Davis, County Administrator, County of Hinds, 316 S. President Street, Jackson, MS 39205-0686, or by calling (601) 968-6501. Responses should be submitted by hand delivery or U.S. Mail to Carmen Y. Davis at the aforementioned location no later than 2:00 p.m. (CST) on Friday, April 1, 2016. Faxed or emailed submissions will NOT be accepted. The contract will be awarded contingent upon the firm’s or individual’s qualifications and ability to meet the specified scope of work and the most advantageous to the County, and other factors considered.
