RFQ/P027-29 Architectural and Engineering Services for the New Pulaski School

Description

The City of Meriden (the “City”) is requesting qualifications/proposals from qualified firms to provide comprehensive design services to the Meriden Public School District (the “District”), the School Building Committee (the “SBC”) and City, in connection with the planning, design, construction, and closeout of a project for the construction of the new Casimir Pulaski Elementary School and grounds (the “Project”) at 1 King Place, Meriden, Connecticut 06451 (the “Property”). The selected firm will be the prime design professional engaged by the City for the Project (the “Architect”). This solicitation is both a request for qualifications and a request for proposals (“RFQ/RFP”).The comprehensive design services (the “Services”) to be performed and provided by the Architect are described in the Instructions to Proposers and Exhibit A of this RFQ/RFP, and will generally include services furnished to the City and the SBC, the District, the Meriden Board of Education, and the District Superintendent, for the planning, design, procurement, implementation, construction, and closeout of the Project consistent with the requirements of the State of Connecticut through the Connecticut Department of Administrative Services (“CTDAS”) which is anticipated to provide a school construction grant to the District.
