PUBLIC NOTICE REQUEST FOR STATEMENTS OF QUALIFICATIONS ARCHITECTURAL / ENGINEERING DESIGN SERVICES AS ARCHITECT-OFRECORD HAYES BUILDING SPACE STUDY AND RENOVATIONS FOR DELAWARE COUNTY, OHIO The Delaware County Board of Commissioners (Owner), in accordance with Section 153.67 of the Ohio Revised Code, wishes to receive Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from experienced architectural/engineering firms to assist the County in the design and engineering for a space study and design for renovations to the Hayes Building. The work may involve, but is not limited to, space study, planning, programming and conceptual design, budget estimating, detail design development, construction documents, construction contract administration, and other associated services. Project Name Hayes Building Renovations. 2. Public Authority/Owner of Record Delaware County Board of Commissioners. 3. Project Location 145 N Union Street, Delaware, Ohio 43015 4. General Description The office of Job and Family Services (JFS) is currently located on the second floor of the Hayes Building. Delaware County is currently constructing the new Shared Services Building on State Route 521 and JFS will be relocating to this new location. A space study for various Coun ty Buildings, included the Hayes Building, was conducted in 2023 by DLZ and the draft is included as Exhibit A. This project is to update the space needs for offices in the Hayes Building and provide professional design services, as directed, through construction completion.
