Purpose of the RFQAnaheim Public Utilities Department (“APU”) is pleased to issue this Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) to invite interested contractors ("Contractors" or "respondents") to submit their qualification to become prequalified to perform water system construction, maintenance, repair, and immediate response work for APU. This Invitation is not a request for bids on a specific project. Instead, it is an invitation to (1) prequalify for future projects and (2) enter into a master agreement that will allow for the submission of bids in the future for APU's as-needed water system construction, maintenance, repair, and immediate response work.Interested contractors may seek prequalification under one or more of the following service categories:Water System ComponentsTransmission and Distribution PipelinesMotors & PumpsWeldingElectrical & InstrumentationNetwork Infrastructure and Fiber OpticsSecurity and Access Control SystemsThe selected Contractors will be responsible for performing the services described in the "Service Categories" in attached prequalification questionnaire in accordance with any performance requirements stated therein (collectively, "Services"). After identifying successful contractors, Anaheim will negotiate an agreement ("Agreement"), which may include a best-and-final offer. The Agreement must substantially conform to the requirements outlined in the Pro Forma MCA - Water Construction 2027-2032. Any resulting Agreement will take effect upon mutual execution, after Anaheim secures all necessary approvals from its approving bodies.
