RFQ - Contractors Seeking to Bid on Anaheim's High Voltage Electric Facilities Work 2026-2031

Purpose of the RFQAnaheim Public Utilities Department (“APU”) is pleased to issue this Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) to invite contractors to submit their qualification to become prequalified to perform high-voltage electric facilities work for APU. This Invitation is not a request for bids on a specific project. Instead, it is an invitaiton to (1) prequalify for future projects and (2) enter into a master agreement that will allow for the submission of bids in the future for APU's as-needed high-voltage work.Interested contractors may seek prequalification under one or more of the following service categories:Transmission (69 kV)Distribution (up to 15 kV), including fiber optics and street lightingSubstationThe selected respondents will be responsible for performing the services described in the "Service Categories" in attached prequalification questionnaire in accordance with any performance requirements stated therein (collectively, "Services"). After identifying successful respondents, Anaheim will negotiate an agreement ("Agreement"), which may include a best-and-final offer. The Agreement must substantially conform to the requirements outlined in the ProForma MCA High Electric Voltage 2026-2031. Any resulting Agreement will take effect upon mutual execution, after Anaheim secures all necessary approvals from its approving bodies.
