The City of Edinburg’s Department of Human Resources (HR) administers the City’s comprehensive employee benefits and insurance programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, accidental death, long-term disability, and voluntary benefit offerings for full-time and benefit-eligible employees. The City is committed to providing competitive, cost-effective benefit plans that align with current market standards and remain accessible to all eligible participants, including employees, retirees, elected officials, COBRA participants, and employees of affiliated intergovernmental agencies such as the Boys and Girls Club, the Economic Development Corporation, and the Chamber of Commerce.The purpose of this RFQ is to provide minimum requirements, solicit Quotations and gain adequate information from which the City may evaluate the Proposer’s products and services as they compare to other providers and as they pertain to the needs of the City’s organization as defined in this document.
