REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL BRIDGEWATER WWTF – PHASE 2 UPGRADES TERTIARY CLOTH DISK FILTER PHOSPHORUS REMOVAL SYSTEM TOWN OF BRIDGEWATER, MASSACHUSETTS I. INVITATION TO SUBMIT A. CURRENT SOLICITATION OF PROPOSALS 1. The Town of Bridgewater (OWNER) through its Consulting Engineer, AECOM (ENGINEER), is in the process of evaluating various cloth disk filter systems for phosphorus removal at the Bridgewater, MA WWTF. The OWNER is hereby soliciting proposals from manufacturers of fullscale municipal cloth disk filtration systems (PROPOSER) that have demonstrated phosphorus removal performance meeting the requirements of this RFP for incorporation into the design and construction of the Phosphorus Removal Upgrade for their Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) Phase 2 Upgrades. 2. A copy of the electronic request for proposals (RFP) documents is available for download online at www.Projectdog.com under Project ID 262521. Any addenda, if issued, shall be posted to www.Projectdog.com. 3. The OWNER reserves the right to accept and/or reject any and all proposals and to waive any information to the extent allowed by law, and to make the award as deemed to be in the best interest of the Town. 4. All proposals are subject to applicable bidding laws of Massachusetts, including General Laws Chapter 30, Section 39M, as amended. 5. No contract will be awarded by the Town as a result of this solicitation. The selected manufacturer will be identified as the selected supplier for inclusion in the future construction contract documents for the Bridgewater WWTF Phase 2 Upgrades to be publicly bid under Chapter 149 of the Massachusetts General Laws. The selected manufacturer's equipment shall be furnished through and contracted with the future General Contractor awarded the public construction contract. B. RFP SCHEDULE 1.
