Does RFP No. 26-28 require the successful vendor to utilize a purpose-built armored vehicle/armored truck for the daily courier route, or may a licensed armed courier perform the services utilizing a company-owned insured vehicle that meets all applicable requirements? a. A purpose-built armored vehicle/armored truck is not required. A licensed armed courier may utilize a company-owned insured vehicle that meets all applicable requirements. 2. Can you please verify the current vendor and how long they have serviced this account? a. There is no current armed courier vendor servicing the Clerk & Recorder’s Office. 3. Can you please let us know what the current total monthly and annual costs are? a. N/A 4. Can you please describe any issues you are experiencing that would be helpful for a new vendor to correct? a. Daily armed courier service is needed to safely transport cash, coin, and/or sensitive documents between locations and the bank while providing protection from theft, loss, or armed robbery. 5. In the last year, can you please let us know how many missed pickups have occurred for any reason at any of the locations? a. N/A - Staff of the Clerk & Recorder’s Office are currently conducting daily transport. 6.
