Summer School Program Curriculum and Materials for K-6 Students (Math and Literacy) RFP #25-26-006 Final Addendum Tuesday, April 6, 2026 – 2:00 PM Because the District has issued this Addendum one day prior to the originally-scheduled deadline for submittal of proposals, the District hereby extends the deadline -- proposals now must be submitted to the District not later than 2:00 p.m. Pacific time on April 10, 2026. Please note that, at this time, the Dsitrict is not extending the scheduled dates for award of a contract for the services, issuance of a notice of award, or commencement of services. Question Response Can you confirm that you are seeking summer school curriculum for 280 students? Would this be for approximately 40 students at each grade level? Grades k-3: 50 per grade level Grades 4-6: 25 per grade level How many teachers would require professional development services? Would you prefer training inperson, virtually, or a combination of both? We prefer in-person training. Tentatively scheduled for May 26, 2026. Approximately 11 teachers. Can you please clarify the request regarding the “Curriculum Packets: complete set of instructional materials for the proposed program”? A sample set of materials from the program you are proposing. This can include example lesson plans, student worksheets or activities, and teacher directions that show how the lesson would be taught. If the samples need special instructions to use them, please include those instructions with the materials. We are preparing to submit, when we include the samples of the curriculum, our proposal is very significant in length: 165 pages (two-sided) for one packet. The curriculum materials include unit overviews, daily lesson plans, daily instructional slides, and student work pages. We could significantly decrease the length if we provided the curriculum materials digitally. If this does not meet the RFP requirements, we will move forward with printing these copies. If there is any flexibility, it would be greatly appreciated. To help reduce the length of your submission, please provide at least one complete set of curriculum samples separate from the five proposal copies. This will allow our team to review the materials more efficiently. In addition, please submit a digital version of the curriculum samples by sending them to Nyesha Williams at nwilliams@cuca.k12.ca.us and copying Dayna Meza at dmeza@cuca.k12.ca.us.
