Take careful note of the addendum so that proper allowance may be made. Questions per verbatim: Q. Just checking if you would consider alternate AEDs of equal specs. We offer the Defibtech which are made in the USA. No recalls ever and 8 yr warranty. Extremely competitive. A. As outlined in our scope of work, we will only accept Zoll 3 Brand units to maintain uniformity and consistency across our district. Substitutions will not be considered. Q. My team and I had a quick question regarding the RFP No.2405. We are excited by the opportunity to be able to work with the Garden Grove Unified School District. However, the one exception I see here is that on page 22, the first requirement is being a "local California Zoll distributor that can provide and service the district's AED devices with 24/7 availability and reliability". Unfortunately, we aren't local (we are located in Illinois) but we'd still love to be able to give you the absolute lowest pricing on AEDs and training. I was hoping we could figure something out or if this just disqualifies us completely. A. Please submit a proposal outlining your plan to fulfill the in-person training and quarterly inspection requirements for Zoll 3. Your proposal will be reviewed. Q. If you are replacing AEDs, what brands/models do you have so we can accurately adjust pricing based on the trade in credit we would offer? I do see that you purchased QTY 10 Philips FRX AEDs from us last year for Bolsa Grande High School. Will these be staying on at that location? A. We are currently prioritizing the expansion of AED units across our school sites and facilities. Once the program is fully implemented, we will assess the need for any unit upgrades. Existing units will remain in service until they malfunction or are replaced. Our existing units are Philips FRX, Philips Onsite, and Zoll 3 AEDs. Q. Based on the SKU (8511-001101-01) you are requesting I assume you are preferring the Semi-Auto AED 3 vs the Fully Auto, correct? A. Yes, that is correct. Q.
