Otto, Jr., P.E., Director & CEO Kay Ivey, Governor of Alabama ISSUED BY Procurement Department 1 Commercial Products & Services Agreement Pursuant to Bid Solicitation / Request for Proposal IDIQ Conveyor Belt Procurement – McDuffie Coal Terminal This is an electronic combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items / equipment required in support of the Alabama Port Authority (APA), Mobile Alabama. This combined synopsis announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation – Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Conveyor Belt(s) Procurement is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This solicitation document and its’ legal terms, conditions, provisions and clauses constitute the bases for the resultant contract which shall serve as the governing and controlling document. ALABAMA PORT AUTHORITY (APA) INDEFINITE QUANTITY CONTRACT (a) This is an Indefinite Delivery – Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the supplies specified, and for the effective period stated, within this RFP. The Line Item(s) and Quantities of supplies specified within the Pricing Schedule are estimates only and are not purchased by this contract. (b) Deliveries shall be made only as authorized by individual Delivery Orders issued by the APA, McDuffie Coal Terminal Warehouse Manager in accordance with this RFP. The Supplier/Manufacturer shall furnish to the APA, when and if ordered, the supplies or services specified in the Schedule up to and including the quantity designated. (c) There is no limit on the number of orders that may be issued. (d) Any order issued during the effective period of the Base Contract Period, and any and all exercised Option Contract Periods, and not completed within that period shall be completed by the Supplier/Manufacturer within the time specified in the Delivery Order.
