The Nevada County Public Health Department’s Maternal, Child, and Adolescent Health (MCAH) Division invites applications from qualified community-based organizations to provide home visiting services through the Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) program. MIECHV is a federally funded initiative designed to improve maternal and child health outcomes by supporting families through evidence-based home visiting models. Nevada County seeks to partner with an organization that can deliver family-centered, culturally responsive, and strengths-based home visiting services to pregnant and parenting families with young children (prenatal to age five). This RFP will result in the award of one or more contracts for funding up to $975,000 with an initial term of one (1) year, with the option to renew for two (2) additional one-year periods at the County’s discretion.
