The County of San Benito, hereinafter referred to as "County", invites responses to a Request for Proposals to provide the following.This Request for Proposal (RFP) seeks qualified vendors to provide weed abatement services aimed at enhancing fire prevention measures within San Benito County. The selected contractor will primarily be responsible for mowing along select designated roadways, normally rural two lane roads. However, Contractor may be asked to implement effective vegetation management in other areas of the County. If so, Contractor should use strategies that reduce fire hazards while adhering to all relevant environmental regulations and best practices in land management.Comprehensive assessment of the project areas to identify high-risk vegetation.Implementation of a tailored weed abatement plan that includes mechanical and manual removal methods.Regular reporting on progress and efficacy of weed abatement efforts.Full compliance with state and local environmental regulations.<span style="font-size: 12
