The County Commissioners of Carroll County (Owner) are requesting proposals for the engineering design, bidding, and construction phase services for upgrades to the Sykesville Pumping Station based upon the Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) and the report’s summarized Recommendations for Improvements. The PER is included within this Request for Proposal packet. The PER also makes recommendations regarding the 4,500 LF force main that conveys effluent from the pumping station. Except for the recommended transient surge analysis, no other recommendations for the force main are part of this scope of work.
