RFP - CDBG Consulting ServicesThe consultant will provide comprehensive CDBG program consultation and management support, encompassing tasks such as reviewing and responding to HUD-related correspondence, preparing HUD reports, advising on legislation affecting CDBG funds, handling public inquiries, conducting on-site monitoring of nonprofits, reviewing invoices, coordinating fund use/reimbursement, and other administrative duties. Additionally, the consultant will prepare the City's annual CDBG funds application, including narrative and table submissions, and inputting data into HUD's CPMP tool. They will also handle tasks related to the annual performance report (CAPER), updating IDIS with relevant data, preparing reports for public review and HUD submission, and following HUD's direction for CAPER preparation. Furthermore, the consultant will contribute to the preparation of the City's 2024-2028 Five-Year Consolidated Plan, conducting needs assessments, developing strategies, facilitating community outreach meetings, conducting surveys, and attending City Council meetings. The agreement may include additional tasks not currently specified and will cover any other services deemed necessary.
