Objective: The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), part of the State University of New York system, invites proposals from qualified executive search firms to assist in the recruitment of a Provost. This position represents a revised and expanded leadership role, evolving from the current Vice President for Academic Affairs, with broader institutional scope and strategic responsibility. FIT seeks a search partner with demonstrated success in recruiting senior academic leaders who can advance institutions to national and international prominence, particularly within creative, design, business and technology focused higher education environments. The selected firm will play a critical role in identifying and attracting highly qualified candidates who align with FIT’s 2 mission, values and long-term strategic goals. 2.
