Buford City School District Request for Proposal for Facility Projects Construction Manager at Risk The Public is hereby informed that the Buford City School System will be receiving sealed proposals from qualified contractors for a Professional Construction Manager at Risk (CM@Risk) for Buford Senior Academy Roof/HVAC Replacement and Buford High School CTE Building. Sealed proposals shall be sealed and mailed or delivered to Operations Manager Tommy Lingerfelt, 2625 Sawnee Avenue Buford, Georgia 30518 prior to 12:00 o’clock pm local time on Monday, October 26th, 2026. Any proposal received after this date and time shall not be accepted. The School District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals/qualifications, to waive technicalities, and to make an award deemed in its best interest. BUFORD CITY SCHOOL SYSTEM BUFORD, GEORGIA REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES INTRODUCTION The Buford City School System (BCSS) desires to retain the services of a professional Construction Management (CM) firm for the management, under a construction management/contractor format, for the construction of certain facility projects. This request covers the projects described below. The Buford City School System shall have the right to terminate the relationship with the Construction Management firm at any time without cause and at its convenience.
