Take careful note of the addendum so that proper allowance may be made. Questions are posted verbatim; however, identifying information has been redacted (unredacted information will be available following the award of a contract): Q: My question is related to the following section of RFP: • Page 33- Special Condition #9 [Company] is located in Los Angeles and has a Los Angeles County Food Permit. Does this satisfy the requirement for Special Condition #9? A: Yes, vendors from the Los Angeles area satisfy the requirement with a Los Angeles County Food Permit. Changes to Bid Document Changes have been made to Page 58 of Agreement, Clause #13 and Page 62 of General Conditions, Clause #14: No Assignment. The language has been revised to the following: The bidder shall not assign, transfer, convey, sublet or otherwise dispose of this Contract or of its rights, title or interest, without the previous consent in writing of the DISTRICT; and the Bidder shall not assign, by power of attorney or otherwise, any of the monies to become due and payable under the Contract unless by and with the like consent signified in like manner. If the Bidder shall, without previous written consent, assign, transfer, convey, sublet or otherwise dispose of the Contract or its right, title or interest therein, or of any of the monies to become due under the Contract, to any other person, company, or other corporation, such as attempted or purported assignment, transfer, conveyance, sublease or other disruption shall be null, void and of no legal effect whatsoever; the Contract may, at the option of the DISTRICT, be terminated, revoked and annulled, and the DISTRICT shall thereupon be relieved and discharged from any and all liability and obligations growing out of the same to the Bidder, and to its purported assignee or transferee.
