ADDENDUM TO RFP NO. 2414 GARDEN GROVE UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT Purchasing Department 10331 Stanford Ave, 4th Floor Garden Grove, CA 92840 (714) 663-6340 Date: June 27, 2025 Project: RFP No. 2414 – Milk, Dairy, Fruit Juices & Ice Cream Products for Food Services From: Lorraine McDaniel, Purchasing Addendum Number: 1 You are hereby notified of the following changes, additions or deletions to the Documents for the above titled Project. Take careful note of the addendum so that proper allowance may be made. Changes to Bid Document: Bidder’s Check List, page 5, lists the W-9 form as a bid document required at time of bid submission. The checklist wording indicates that if the W-9 is not submitted at time of submission, the bidder will be declared nonresponsive. This will be amended as follows: W-9 form is required at time of submission, however, if the W-9 is not included in bid packet, bidder may be declared non-responsive. Questions per verbatim: Q. Is Garden Grove getting the 8 oz lactose free yogurt now? If so, can you share the brand please. Yami discontinued the 8 oz yogurt last year and does not have any plans on producing any. Can we substitute it with the 4 oz Yami or substitute it with our brand yogurt, that is not lactose free? A. We are not currently purchasing an 8 oz lactose free yogurt. Our preference would be an 8 oz lactose free yogurt product similar to the Yami brand. If an 8 oz product is not available, a bidder may substitute a 4 oz lactose free product. Product size must be indicated on the Proposal Pricing Form. GGUSD reserves the right to reject the substitute item if it is deemed to not meet the needs of the district.
