Description

Carteret County is requesting informal bids for the Davis Ferry Channel Maintenance Dredging Project. The channel provides public boater and ferry access through Core Sound to Cape Lookout National Seashore and is accessible from Highway 70. The project includes dredging and disposal of approximately 1,000 cubic yards of material using a bucket and barge to restore the authorized depth throughout the channel. The contractor will be responsible for all dredging activities, transportation, and proper disposal of spoil material. The spoil disposal area will be located near the parking lot on the bankside. The work will be completed under CAMA General Permit No. 97293.
