HCA is seeking information from qualified PBMs, PBAs, TPAs, and related vendors with experience administering large, self-insured public sector pharmacy benefit programs. Responses from entities other than those identified herein will not be reviewed by HCA. The purpose of this RFI is to gather information on commercial and Medicare Part D pharmacy benefit administration to include, but not limited to: A. Pharmacy benefit design; B. Administrative models (PBM vs. TPA vs. hybrid); C. Cost containment; D. Population health strategies; E. Alignment with medical benefit; F. Opportunities for enhanced transparency, cost control, and innovation; and G. Alternative financing approaches.
