This equipment will be located at the Kentucky State University Environmental Education Research Center and used for Extension and education workshops, professional development training, and related natural resources projects Kentucky State University. Section 2 Bid Specifications Kentucky State University is seeking one (1) sport utility side by side with the following accessories, • • • • • • Fully Enclosed cab and bed Climate Control (Heat and air condition) Global positioning system (GPS) with ability to review travel Four doors 5 seats: four (4) passenger seats, one (1) driver seat Power steering This equipment unit will be utilized at KSU’s EERC located at 1371 Dixie Highway Pleasureville, KY 40057. Vendors responding to this solicitation must provide documentation of any and documents confirming accordance with 41 U.S.C. 8301-8305, known as the Buy American Act. The sport utility side by side produced in response to this solicitation and the awarded contract must meet all the pertinent standards established by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and the federal Department of Transportation. Section 3 Purpose The purpose of this solicitation is to request vendor responses in order to provide the requested services under contract to the University as needed. Section 4 General This solicitation specifies requested items. It is not the intention of this solicitation to eliminate vendors or manufacturers of similar or equal equipment of the types specified. It should be noted, however, that these requested items are written around specific needs of Kentucky State University. The University reserves the right to consider bids non-responsive if they do not comply with the specifications contained herein. Section 5 Initial Contract Period The contract established from this solicitation shall be for the initial period of the date of contract award through June 30, 2024.
