The Fort Myers Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) invites qualified restaurant operators, hospitality groups, restaurateurs, and eligible joint ventures to submit proposals to operate a restaurant at McCollum Hall, a historic community landmark located within the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. redevelopment area in Fort Myers, Florida. The CRA intends to select a respondent capable of operating a high-quality, financially sustainable, community-oriented restaurant that honors the cultural legacy of McCollum Hall and contributes to the economic revitalization of the Dunbar community and the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard corridor. This RFP is designed to identify the respondent offering the best overall value to the CRA and community. Selection will not be based solely on the highest rent, lowest cost, or most aggressive financial proposal. The CRA will evaluate operating experience, concept quality, financial feasibility, cultural alignment, community benefit, implementation capacity, and proposed business terms.
