The Washington County District Attorney’s (DA’s) Office is issuing a request for proposals for the facilitation of a weekly responsible thinking group, utilizing a curriculum called Changing Offender Behavior from The Change Companies, for veterans participating in the Veterans Treatment Court (VTC). The Washington County DA’s Office will be utilizing funds from the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) Enhancement grant awarded to our VTC program, currently scheduled to expire September 30, 2026 (with the potential to be extended by one year) to fund both the purchase of curriculum materials (interactive journals for participants and the facilitators guide), and the weekly facilitation of treatment groups.The respondent must be able to provide a QMHA (Qualified Mental Health Associate), QMHP (Qualified Mental Health Professional) or other equivalently credentialed behavioral health provider (including but not limited to: LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, CADC, etc.), OR, have a minimum of five (5) years experience facilitating curriculum for justice involved individuals, who can facilitate weekly group sessions, to fidelity of the curriculum, for up to about 30 participants per year. The respondent also must be able to provide bi-weekly attendance and basic progress reports/updates for each participant for the duration of their engagement in the group.
