Atkins, Jr., Superintendent 488 Main Street Woodville, MS 39669 Responses to FY27 RFP Questions (Data Analysis and Systems, Technology, Teacher Coaching, Student Tutoring): We are preparing a proposal for the FY2027 Data Analysis and Systems RFP and have one question. The Scope of Services states that vendors providing consulting, data coaching, data analysis, accountability support, or professional learning shall possess current MDE Micro-Credentials. Does this apply to consultants delivering training and support on our data platform, or only to personnel providing direct instructional support? The MDE micro-credentialing requirement applies to personnel providing direct instructional support, instructional coaching, curriculum-based professional learning, or other services for which MDE requires the applicable credential. Personnel providing only technical services, such as data platform configuration, dashboard development, systems integration, or technical platform training, are not subject to this requirement unless their assigned duties include instructional coaching or professional learning covered by MDE credentialing requirements. Our High Impact Tutoring program is live virtual tutoring. Tutors are selected from our cadre of trained w9 tutor employees or hired when existing tutors cannot meet the specific needs of the school/district (ELL as an example). This means we will not assign tutors until contracts are signed and alignment with state and school requirements has been established. The Scope of Services states "All tutors, instructional interventionists, academic coaches, and instructional support personnel assigned under this contract shall possess current Mississippi Department of Education (MDE) Micro-Credentials appropriate to the grade level(s), content area(s), and instructional services provided. Vendors shall submit copies of all applicable MDE Micro-Credentials with their proposal. Credentials must remain active throughout the contract period." Will Wilkinson CSD accept proposals and consider an award without the existing Micro-Credentials at time of proposal, provided a commitment is made that these will be put in place once tutor assignments are made? Wilkinson County School District will not consider an award without the existing micro-credentialing already in place at the time of the submission.
