Reservoir Inspection and Cleaning

Description

The Palmdale Water District is accepting proposals from qualified proposers for the inspection, cleaning and reporting of the condition of the District's twenty-one (21) reservoirs. The work shall include the following: sediment removal, interior and exterior inspection of the structural and components, coatings, confirm the seismic design of the reservoir meet the current seismic rating of the location of the reservoir, compliance with latest AWWA reservoir standards, sanitary compliance, and overall site (security, overflow, etc.), report on the condition and associated recommendations on repairs or replacements for each reservoir, engineer's estimates of probable costs, draft and final reports.For more detail scope see the Scope of Work section of this RFP.A tentative schedule for the bid is attached. The District priority will be the inspection of the 6M Reservoir in December 2020 and January 2021. The District will have the reservoir empty during those months during the shutdown of the water treatment plant.
