The City of Cookeville is offering for sale by sealed bid property consisting of approximately 0.48 acres (20,810 square feet) located on West Stevens Street and identified as Parcel 20.02 on Tax Map 53I, Group D on the Putnam County Tax Maps. This property is depicted as Lot 2 of the Country Bumpkin Lot Line Adjustment Final Plat recorded on August 8, 2022 in Plat Cabinet K, Page 129A, in the Register’s Office of Putnam County. A copy of this plat is available for review in the Department of Community Development at the Cookeville City Hall. The property is zoned as CG, General Commercial and is restricted in use for residential purposes and/or parking for a period of 20 years. Residential uses permitted in the CG District include townhomes, multi-family and condos at a density of 2,500 square feet per unit or 17 units per acre. A ten (10) percent bid deposit will be required with the submittal of each bid. Sealed bids will be accepted until the bid opening on Monday, November 16, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the Office of the City Manager at the Cookeville City Hall, 45 East Broad Street, Cookeville, TN 38501. No bids will be accepted after this time. On the outside of the bid envelope, indicate “SEALED BID, WEST STEVENS STREET LOT”.
