QUOTES FOR FREIGHT ROCK HAULING FY 26-27 The Saluda County Roads and Bridges Department is requesting quotes from qualified vendors for the furnish & delivery of State Spec. rock products such as but not limited to, CR14, #57 stone, #3 stone, and one-man rip-rap, for the FY July 01, 2026 – June 30, 2027. These products will be delivered to the Saluda County Roads & Bridges stockpile and at the discretion of the Saluda County Roads & Bridges Department located at 175 Public Safety Drive, Saluda, SC 29138. Total tonnage under this quote will be approximately 6000 tons. Price should include sales tax of 8% and any other related charges. A 5% bid bond is required at time of bid submission. Performance and payment bonds are due shortly after award of contract as per SC procurement laws. All bids must be in a sealed envelope clearly marked on the outside as follows: Bid # County Stockpile FY. 26-27 Please mail or deliver quotes to the Roads & Bridges Department no later than 1:30 pm on June 23rd, 2026. Any quote that does not meet the mandatory requirements or is received after the appointed time will be considered non-compliant and rejected. Saluda County reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or to waive technicalities if it is in the best interest of the county to do so. This request does not commit Saluda County to award a contract or to procure a contract for these services.
